8 Mile: photographs from the margins of Port Moresby Sean Davey and Emmanuel Onom Mel This cross-cultural collaboration focuses on the community of 8 Mile Settlement, located on the outskirts of Port Moresby. Sean Davey is an Australian photographer who has been visiting Papua New Guinea over several years, and Emmanuel Onom Mel is a self-acknowledged ‘bad boy’ who has grown up in 8 Mile. Taken together, their photographs provide a compellingly gritty picture of contemporary life in the urban Pacific.

The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue ($19.95 + postage and handling)
